OPTIMUS PRIME

Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots and a powerful force of goodness, courage and wisdom in the battle against the evil Decepticons. He comes to the aid of all living creatures whose freedom is threatened. In general, Optimus Prime first tries to find peaceful solutions to conflicts, but when battle lines are drawn, he becomes a fierce warrior capable of overpowering vast enemy forces to achieve his goal.

Optimus Prime transforms into an 18-wheeler. When he transforms into robot mode, his trailer becomes a Mini-Con base equipped with ramps, firing stations, runways and storage areas. Optimus can also combine with the trailer to become a super robot - a true force to be reckoned with!

Optimus Prime is partnered with the Mini-Con Sparkplug, who transforms to a sports car.

HOT SHOT

"Well let's go!"

Hot Shot is a young, heroic fighter who rushes into danger without regard to his own safety. He courageously charges into the middle of the fight to aid his friends in battle. He has taken charge on many occasions, showing great leadership potential, but he still needs the guidance of his elders before he can hope to lead the Autobots. Rash at times, Hot Shot is not always prepared to listen. Will he learn to be a leader who strives for good, or will his reckless nature ruin his promising future?

When transformed, Hot Shot turns into a sleek yellow sports car. His speed makes him one of the fastest Transformers around. He is partnered with the Mini-Con Jolt, who transforms into a helicopter. When Jolt splits in two and attaches to vehicle mode Hot Shot, one of his two halves activate claws in Hot Shot's front bumper, and the other half becomes a rear-mounted fan capable of boosting Hot Shot's speed to super levels. When they combine in robot mode, Jolt activates a missile launcher on Hot Shot's back.

RED ALERT

"All life is precious."

An old friend of Optimus Prime, Red Alert is a valued doctor and science officer who has saved the lives of many Autobots. His quest to preserve life has led him to find new ways to repair damaged circuitry. He has risked his life many times to retrieve wounded comrades during battles. Once a fierce and heroic fighter, Red Alert's conviction was shaken when he was seriously wounded in battle. The new conflict with the Decepticons may reawaken his warrior's heart.

Red Alert transforms into an all-terrain rescue vehicle. He's partnered with the Mini-Con Longarm, who transforms into a crane. Longarm attaches to Red Alert in both vehicle and robot modes to activate hidden projectile weapons.

LASERBEAK

"I will protect you."

Laserbeak is a protective companion for the Earth kids who become involved in the battle between the Transformers. Given to the children by Optimus Prime, Laserbeak can transform into a digital video recorder. He records information in his spy bird mode and can launch fire blasts in his stun weapon mode. He is always alert to his surroundings, scanning for threats. Laserbeak is an indispensable asset in the battle against the Decepticons; his spy missions often uncover valuable information.
