The Transformers Comic Book Index - IDW Publishing (2005 and onwards)

The third main publisher of the Transformers comics is IDW Publishing, a division of Idea + Design Works. Before acquiring the Transformers licence in 2005, the company was perhaps best known for its many comic books based on TV series, like 24, Angel, CSI and The Shield. They started over with a new Transformers continuity, and recruited, among others, writer Simon Furman and several former Dreamwave artists to work on the comics. Early reports indicated that IDW would start cautiously with a single Transformers title, but the list of titles grew quite rapidly.
