Petsku
Hey everyone!

I'm Petsku, a collector from Finland, I'm putting up a game company of my own so I need all the funds I can get, so I've decided to sell my entire collection of Transformers from the 80s.

If only back then there were such Transformers communities as today it would have been the greatest thing ever... I didn't really have many friends that were into collecting them like me, but here, there are of course collections amongst you guys that would absolutely dwarf mine.

But anyway, I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna sell my collection, 150+ G1 Transformers, I gotta, so here we go. Instead of going straight to some place like eBay, I thought I'd first see if there were likeminded people, collectors on actual Transformers forums that would definitely give my collection a good home.

I gotta say, digging these out of their storage (for the past 20+ years) and going through each single one with a magnifying glass to document any possible defects, finding out which weapon belonged to which (some were stored in different little containers), etc, etc. felt like quite an undertaking.

Finally, of course, I took a whole lot of pics. Unfortunately, it seems I can only post 10 pics in one post (maybe because I'm new? But perhaps if you want, I can post more in following posts?). So, I had to choose only a few pics at random.

Here's the first, a super tight groupshot (not much space between each figure, hehe):

I actually don't have a very good idea of what this collection would be worth, I'm still in the process of doing research on places like eBay, but I haven't seen a similar collection for sale even there so all help in pushing me to the right direction would be of course much appreciated!

As a guideline though, for example if a figure is 100% complete and has accessories still attached to sprue and also comes with instructions + tech specs then its price evaluation should probably reflect that.

I mean to do my research and come to some sort of a conclusion regarding a reasonable price for the whole lot in the next few days, and of course will offer a discount if someone really wants to buy a G1 Transformers lot this big.

Otherwise, I would have to sell each one individually and that would of course mean 150+ trips to the post office at worst and a whole lot of additional work and hassle, etc.

About me and my collection:

Back in the day, I bought most of these for display purposes only. I began collecting Transformers early on in 1984, and after a few years went on and I turned 11 or so I realized I still wanted to keep collecting them but no longer wanted to play with them, so many of these were bought and used only for display, some transformed only once.

That's why some of these are still in pristine 9.0+ or even impeccable 9.5 condition. I've gone through every single one of them, inspected them carfefully, and graded them respectively.

When I was a child we traveled all around the world, so these were bought from all over the world, many of course from Finland, but others from countries like Italy, Spain, Greece, Sweden, England, etc. If the precise country of origin of each/certain figure is of importance to the buyer, I can enclose further details if I can remember where they were bought (or the instructions/tech specs are in Spanish for example).

Since I'm the original owner of almost all of these and mainly used them for display, most of these are in truly excellent condition (there are only two or so that I got second hand from a friend as a kid that aren't in that good of a shape).

I've used the following grading system that I found on the net:

C9.5: Figure is in mint condition, without any visible flaws or defects.
C9.0: Figure is in near mint condition with very few minor flaws (barely noticeable unless you search hard).
C8.5: Figure has some very minor areas of wear and may have small flaws.
C8.0: Figure has minor paint/sticker wear, may have minor stains, discoloration, and stress marks but no damage.
C7.5: Figure has some play, paint/sticker wear and may have some stains, discoloration and stress marks.
C7.0: Figure has play wear, moderate paint/sticker wear and may have moderate stains, discoloration, and stress marks. Figure is still collection worthy up to this point.
C6.5: Figure has more play and paint/sticker wear, and may have stains, discoloration, and stress marks. Figure may have a broken part.
C6.0: Figure has heavy play wear, paint/sticker wear and may have heavy stains, discoloration, and stress marks. Figure may have one or more broken/repaired parts.

...not listing anything less than in C6 or better condition so I won't describe conditions worse than that.

Ok, here is everything that's being offered:

Finally, once I had gone through each and every figure, there were still some weapons etc. accessories left over
(may belong to Transformers no longer in my collection, since I sold many of them away at the end of the 80s).

Any and all help in identifying the weapons in the pic below would of course be super appreciated!

Thanks guys,

Hi Petsku!

Thank you for showing us this - this is a marvellous collection, and with so many very very pristine items in it, it is almost a shame to break it up. smile.gif But I understand where you are coming from in doing this, so all the best of luck to you. smile.gif

A few pointers of advice:

* Usually the Micromasters go as groups of 4, as they were released. When you have all 4 of a given group, it's easier to sell them as that group. Just my oppinion. smile.gif
* The same goes for the clones sets.
* That Jetfire you note as "Spanish": I'd love to see more pictures of that. Which aspect is spanish - the instructions or the country where you bought him?
* If you need to identify parts, I can recommend this site here. smile.gif From the last pic though, I can off-hand ID 2 Italian safety missiles (upper left corner) and some Technobot weapons (the other light and dark orange weapons).

Good luck smile.gif

Parts identified! You're welcome! thumbs.gif

(If anyone sees any mistakes, plz feel free to point them out!!)

Quite a collection! I might be interested in a few thing, like Sludge's missile launcher, Triple changers and that dinobot, snarl? Prize?

I'm also looking for Piranacon accessories, fists, guns and Overbite, but I suppose you want to sell him complete? Maybe if you have extras?

\o/ Thank you so much, Fighbird!!

What a tremendous well of knowledge a place like this can be, you guys were able to identify some parts right off the bat!

Can you extrapolate further what figure the two Italian safety missiles might belong to?

Fighbird, I bought my Jetfire from Spain and his instructions are multi lingual, four different languages, I bet one of the languages is Spanish.

Here's a photo I took of him:

Thanks so much!

I can't thank you enough for going through the trouble of identifying and marking the parts for me. That is just insanely kind of you. If only a place like this would have existed when I was a kid and super into Transformers, I would have seriously geeked out.

Regarding the misc parts lot - I will probably sell the parts that will be left over once I'm done identifying them. You guys have already helped me out so I could put some of them back on their master's hands (robot fists). I had accidentally misplaced some of 'em after first carefully matching them up, so now they're safe with who they belong. I've updated the list accordingly (for example, I had earlier listed Horri-Bull as "90% complete, missing gun", but now he's back to 100% smile.gif So, seriously, a big thank you to everyone.

It's starting to look like once I know what all this is worth so I can put a price tag to it, I might possibly attempt some sort of mega huge big bundle eBay sale for everything in a bundle (and of course with a great big discount). But if it doesn't sell (and I wouldn't be surprised if it wouldn't), then sure, I will have to start selling each figure separately.

NRJohn - regarding Piranacon and the Seacons, yeah, I would really like to try and sell at least each combiner as their own group together. I'm sorry but I don't have any extras... The only "extras" I really have of anything seem to be the three copies of "Bombshell" the Insecticon (listed).

Finally, you probably identified all the other parts correctly but the one little black gun in the pic you said belonged to Scrapper (of the Constructicons) doesn't seem to be so - here's a closer look at that gun, see if you can identify it:

Thanks again for all the help guys, I can't thank you enough. I will be updating with pricing info in the near future when my research is complete.

Best Regards,
Petsku

No problem, glad to help!

Aha! It's Metroplex's gun, not Scapper!

Phew, that's a tough one. In theory, it could be any of the "old" Autobot cars and/or Ultra Magnus. But all seem to have their original missiles as well (which would be missing in the package if the safety ones were included). Also, they seem to be different - the "stems" are different lenghts. My best advice is to tru each missile in all the different Autobots you have (and maybe the Decepticon jets as well? Can't remember if they even were available in Italy) and see if you can find a good fit. Otherwise, I'm sure they can be sold individually.

Well, he's not spanish, but one of the languages is spanish. I can see german, french, dutch and spanish on the instructions. Your Jetfire is in reality from Europe, produced and sold in many parts of Europe, including Scandinavia. If you had his tech specs still you would see that his function in the Netherlands was "Leader" - i.e., he was the Autobot commander instead of Prime. smile.gif Crazy stuff! smile.gif

\o/ Again you with your eagle eye vision, and the ability to spot and identify any and all Transformer accessories in 0.1138 seconds! smile.gif

I remember selling Metroplex way back, he was a big figure, and such a small gun, maybe the gun belongs to his little pal Scamper?

Thanks again!

Phew, that's a tough one. In theory, it could be any of the "old" Autobot cars and/or Ultra Magnus.
QUOTE
Fighbird, I bought my Jetfire from Spain and his instructions are multi lingual, four different languages, I bet one of the languages is Spanish.

Well, he's not spanish, but one of the languages is spanish. I can see german, french, dutch and spanish on the instructions. Your Jetfire is in reality from Europe, produced and sold in many parts of Europe, including Scandinavia.

Fighbird, I seem to remember buying some Dinobots from Italy, you think there's any chance those safety missiles belong to them?

Ok, so my Jetfire is sort of not Spanish after all (but I could swear I once heard him say "Autobots Senores, Transformar Por favor!"). But, I might still list him as "bought from Spain", whether it's of much relevance to the buyer, dunno (but thought it'd be nice to mention some of the countries they were bought from).

Update on the collection sale as a whole: I will soon be done with my price evaluation research and will probably be listing the whole collection on eBay first, we'll see if it doesn't sell (and I of course wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't) then I will have to start selling the figures individually.

I have already received requests from members here for the following for example: Devastator (2 requests), some of the Decepticon Headmasters and Targetmasters, etc.

Ok, I'll keep everyone posted, thanks again for all your help, interests and comments!!

Cheers,
Petsku

It's a nice piece of extra information on the toy itself, definitely! smile.gif But I think it would attract more buyers if you listed him as "MB version, bought from Spain". smile.gif

Outstanding collection, congratulations!

The Jetfire I believe comes from a Milton Bradley box, MB Transformers are known to have been sold in Spain. The instructions show German first, which is usually a sign of Milton Bradley packaging. When French is shown first (as with your Insecticons) they are Ceji-manufactured Hasbro Europe items, just after Milton Bradley. When English is the first language, I believe that's standard Hasbro Bradley Takara manufactured non-Milton Bradley packaging.

If you do not find anyone to buy your whole collection, I would very much love to buy all of your Insecticons + techs + paerwork for those Insects smile.gif

Please let me know if that should ever be a possibility smile.gif

Hey Maz!

What a wealth of knowledge this place has, I'm floored. I've also posted my collection on one other TF forum but I have to say here's where I posted first and people here just seem to be super kind, and willing to share their knowledge, actually helping me with my sale. I am so grateful and honestly can't thank you enough.

So Maz - of course that's a possibility! Just when I thought I was done with my research (like evaluating everything in the collection etc. so I can put a price tag on it all) when you had to post this new information for me smile.gif

So I just went ahead and quickly did a little further research into both MB (Milton Bradley) and the French Ceji manufactured variants with Google, and checked through a few of the figures in the collection, and sure enough, Jetifire is the Milton Bradley variant, and so far I've identified the following to be the French Ceji variants:

Devastator - genuine G1 Ceji variants from 1986 (not the later G2 yellow variants), identified by Japan-blocked copyright imprints, instructions that say "Made and printed in France by Ceji, under license from Takara Co., Ltd.", as well as the precise Ceji shade of yellow that's slightly different from the later G2 yellow coloring, etc. + Instructions, Constructicons:
- Bonecrusher, 100% Complete + Techspecs. C9.0 Condition (Near Mint).
- Hook, 100% Complete. C9.0 Condition (Near Mint).
- Long Haul, 100% Complete. Figure itself C9.0 condition (Near Mint), but the Devastator connector part has slight traces of a black marker pen having been used on it (on the small yellow pieces).
- Mixmaster, 100% Complete. C9.0 Condition (Near Mint)
- Scavenger, 90% complete (gun missing). C9.0 Condition (Near Mint).
- Scrapper, 90% complete (gun missing). C9.0 Condition (Near Mint).

Insecticons - all these are the Ceji variants, identified by the orange (not yellow) chest plates and the Japan-blocked copyright imprints behind them
- Bombshell, 100% Complete + Techspecs. C8.5 Condition (Minor wear).
- Bombshell, 100% Complete. C8.5 Condition (Minor wear).
- Bombshell, 90% complete (gun missing). C8.0 Condition (Minor wear).
- Kickback, 100% Complete + Instructions. C8.0+ Condition (Minor wear).
- Shrapnel, 100% Complete + Instructions. C7.0 Condition (Tight joints, but some paint wear).

Seekers - Ceji variants, identified by the hard plastic nosecones (instead of rubber), plastic black wheels (instead of die cast), and the Japan-blocked copyright imprints in the legs
- Dirge, 100% Complete + Instructions + Techspecs. C9.5 Condition (Mint).
- Ramjet, 100% Complete + Instructions + Techspecs. C6.0 condition (right leg and black parts on wings have been glued back on).
- Starscream, 100% Complete + Instructions + Techspecs. C9.0 Condition (Minor sticker wear).

...it looks like I might have to do even more research if I want to be as informative and precise as possible in my listing of the entire collection, currently I don't even really know whether the MB or Ceji origin of some of these matters or affects the value potential buyers might place on any of these, but I of course want to share all the possible variant information I can.

This is the MB article I read, written in 2010 - the part that of course stood out for me said that year a MB Jetfire sold for 600 euros on eBay (but I of course have no idea if it was loose/boxed, etc. and as it is am probably not gonna place any value on mine for being the MB variant, will probably just mention it is but list its estimated value as $150 *tops*, due to the fact that I noticed it's got some discoloration/yellowing on its chest plate):

This is the Ceji article I read (funny coincidence - it was written today!):

It was you? Wow, nice! smile.gif That was a great article, thanks for sharing your knowledge with everyone!!

I was originally planning to post my entire collection for sale on eBay today, but in light of the latest discoveries I have decided to postpone the sale a few days so I can do more research and include as many exact manufacturing origins, variant information etc. in the listing as I possibly can.

Can you (or anyone else for that matter) give me any further information on the estimated value of MB and Ceji variants, if there is any more collectible value to them than regular Hasbro versions, that would really help me figure out a proper price tag for the entire set so I could maybe even include a buy-it-now price (with a big bundle discount of course), it would also help a lot if and when I have to start selling the figures separately (or in small sets)?

Thank you so much for everyone who might be able to help me out with this, if my entire set doesn't go as a whole I'll have to try and repay everyone here who has been so kind and helped me (by sending them something nice perhaps, hehe smile.gif

No I haven't made a deal yet for any items with anyone and will first see if I can sell the entire collection in one big bundle, if not, I will start selling the figures individually or in sets.

I have been contacted by three people here so far regarding the G1 1986 French Ceji Devastator Constructicons variant set and received some initial offers for it, but have not made any deals.

I will soon be finished going through each item one more time to check if I can find even more MB or Ceji variants, will post my findings here soon.

Thanks guys!

UPDATE for MB (Milton Bradley) and French Ceji variants - Went through the entire collection once more and can now add the following to the MB and Ceji variant lists:

NOTE: Have edited this post by removing 2 mistakenly identified Autobot cars (they were not the French Ceji variants after all)

Roadbuster - MB variant (Milton Bradley variant, says "1985 Milton Bradley International Inc. under Berne and Universal copyright convention." on instructions), 100% Complete (all 5 missiles even still attached to sprue) + Instructions. C9.0 Condition (Near Mint).

...So the final count is: 2 MB TFs (Jetfire and Roadbuster) and 14 Ceji TFs (6 Constructicons, 5 Insecticons, and 3 Seekers). Thanks again for everyone educating me on the MB and Ceji variants (will appreciate all possible info on such variants greatly, like collectible value, etc).

It's up to seller to decide who get's it.

What I meant was that: May the best offer win! wink2.gif (When it comes to sale)

BTW: Does that Ultra Magnus have rubber tires? Some may appreciate it more if it does have them. And does that Catilla have a golden helmet on it's pretender? Or does the cameras flash give it a different look?

The thing is, most people don't even know anything about the Ceji variants, let alone go looking for them to establish a market value. The Starscreams and Insecticons I have won, I didn't have any competition at all, in fact I was the only bidder on every Ceji auction I bid on. I will link you to these by private message in a little while so you can see for yourself what I have paid. The lack of knowledge and interest in these items is exactly why I decided to publish an article about them.

The Constructicons are a little different because they were made popular by a very well known collector in the early 2000s, but a few of us have been able to find multiple sets since then. I found a set from a French collector who had 3 sets, I managed to secure a set for 120 Euros with some wear and no extra parts, just the robots + Devastator parts.

MB Transformers are usually only valuable if they have the packaging, as that is usually the only point of interest for collectors. The only exception is MB Tracks, because it is red. Only dedicated MB collectors would usually be interested specifically in loose MB TFs and even then mainly for the paperwork. You will be looking for a very specific kind of person to pay you a premium on the Roadbuster and Jetfire. I have already directed a couple of those people here to have a look smile.gif

I believe the Hoist and Tracks are not actually Ceji variants. You can verify this by looking at their copyrights, you should still see "JAPAN" on Hoist's leg and on Tracks's back. These are just later Hasbro Europe releases, still manufactured by Takara. The instructions will still be multilingual and feature French, but French is not the FIRST language featured like the Ceji toys.

I will write you that PM shortly smile.gif

Hey Gravebot,

No I just checked and the Ultra Magnus seems to have plastic tires. About the Catilla helmet - I actually have no idea why it might look golden, if I could've posted more than 10 pics you would see it's silver (maybe I should go ahead and post all the pics on this forum as well, but each post would only have 10 pics each?).

Yes the Grimlock sword is chromed, that's how it came in its package. I don't remember what version I owned of him, but I sold him away (along with maybe almost a hundred other Transformers I owned back in the late 80s, all the Dinobots, Trypticon, Scorponok, Metroplex, pre rub Shockwave, Defensor, Computron, other Autobot cars, etc, etc.).

Thank you so much for spreading the word and bringing MB or Ceji variations aware collectors to come and have a look. I guess I should really start posting all the pics I have here, despite the 10 pic (per post?) limit.

Hey JB,

Nice to meet you!

My MB Roadbuster is 100% Complete (all 5 missiles even still attached to sprue) with instructions, and is in excellent C9.0 Condition.

My MB Jetfire is 100% Complete with instructions but I noticed it has some discoloration on its chest plate ("yellowing") and some wear, so I'm grading him C8.0 now.

I am now almost done putting a price tag on each individual figure, and then I have to decide whether to first offer everything in one big bundle (along with a discount of course) or to start selling everything separately or in sets.

I will soon update the thread with my price estimates and info on whether I'm going to put everything up at once on a place like eBay, or sell individually.

I could now also start posting pics of everything in the collection if you guys want (I've already posted them on TFW2005 though), maybe 10 pics per post since that seems to be the limit here.

Best Regards,
Petsku

Ok here we go with the pics, the first 10 in this post (and then 10 more in each successive):

AUTOBOTS

Cars
  • Hoist, 85% complete (missing one fist, one twin blaster, one missile) + Instructions (multi lingual). C9.0+ Condition (Near Mint / Mint)
  • Jazz, 90% complete (missing two missiles) + Instructions. C8.0 Condition (Minor sticker wear and discoloration)

  • Fastlane, 100% Complete. C9.0+ Condition (Near Mint / Mint).

Please note: though the clones might appear different shades of color, they're *identical* - no discoloration (one member on TWF2005 forums told me my pics look confusing/discolored, but I can only guess that might be due to my lighting conditions as I've got 2 light sources - a lamp and light from my computer screen monitor)

Headmasters
  • Chromedome, 100% complete but may be C6.0 condition only (got this second hand from a friend as a kid and not placing any value on it because somewhat damaged, has marker pen markings on it, one of the guns is damaged, etc.) Could be used for parts? Or, I can just throw away and not include in the shipment if the buyer doesn't want this.
  • Hardhead, 95% complete (missing small grey chest plate) + Instructions. Otherwise C9.0 condition (Near Mint).
  • Hosehead, 100% Complete + Instructions. C9.0 Condition (Near Mint).

  • Tote (100% Complete) + Techspecs (Still on card). C9.0+ Condition (Near Mint / Mint).

Minis
  • Beachcomber, 100% Complete. C9.0+ Condition (Near Mint).

  • Seaspray, 100% Complete. C8.5 Condition (minor wear).
  • Swerve, 100% Complete. C9.0 Condition (Near Mint).

Hey Gavnushkatron,

Ok I will try to keep everyone in mind who was shown interest for certain figures or sets, of all the figures you requested, the Monsterbots have probably the most overlap in interest from several members here, on the other forums, and now from eBay users who have contacted me.

I'm not sure yet how I'm going to deal with all the requests I've been receiving, I might have to put up several auctions if the entire collection doesn't sell as a whole, and maybe also sell some figures and sets directly to members on forums like here. I will most probably prefer payments via Paypal.

And speaking of prices and what value to place on each figure, have you guys noticed that I list my value estimations for each figure in the eBay listing? I have based my estimates purely on all the research I did on eBay, going through dozens and dozes of recently completed auctions for the same figures in similar conditions.

As for the MB and Ceji variation values, I'm purely going with the advice and info I've received from members like Maz here, who have been kind enough to share their knowledge and advice with me.

Thanks again guys,
Petsku

I imagine that it must be really hard to part with such a collection, which you surly spent alot of effort, time and money in collecting. And I do have an idea about selling stuff on ebay and through forums, especially when it is in such quantity as your collection. A real pain in the ass if you ask me.

I honestly hope that you get to sell all of them in the current auction on ebay. Such a fine collection should pass to another collector as a whole, in my opinion. But as you stated yourself, that in case it doesn't sell, and out of your interest in selling them as sets, thus I offer to buy the above sets (even though I already own a figure here and and there from each set).

I did see the price estimates you put along in the ebay listing and based on those I offered to purchase the lots mentioned above. And eventually the decision is yours and only yours. You should do what you think works out best for you.

I will get back to you on this thread once the listing ends.

Best of luck to you in selling these guys, and in moving on to your future project mate smile.gif

Ok guys, there's only one day left on the big bundle auction, if it doesn't sell as a whole (I now realize that wouldn't be surprising - thanks to everyone here who've been so kind and shared their knowledge and advice with me, and of course all the other people from around the world who've e-mailed me), I will start selling the figures separately and in sets.

I will most likely be putting up several sales/auctions, for sets such as:

- Autobot Cars
- Headmasters
- Targetmasters
- Combiner sets (groups like the Devastator, or Bruticus, etc.)
- Etc, etc.

Thanks again for the tremendous help, advice and interest you've all shown, I can't thank you enough!

So stay tuned and let's see what happens.

Best Regards,
Petsku

Just for the clarity; are you willing to sell some individual bots as well or only certain sets? Obviously I understand that in case of combiner sets, you want to sell the whole set, but how about the rest. For example, for me there are some really interesting headmasters and some that I really don't care that much. So I would most likely like to buy just some of those.

That's a good question. There's only a few hours left on the big bundle auction anymore, and I have to make the decisions soon about the sets etc. and post follow up sales/auctions.

I'll let everyone know what I'll be doing soon.

Thanks,

Ta-daa! And so it begins, the one big bundle auction is over and my quest to sell my TF figures separately and in sets begins, no single collector would come forward and claim the entire collection in one strike.

I will update soon with sales and auctions info on the separate figures and sets, maybe already even later tonight. Thanks again to everyone for their interest, now you'll be able to get your hands on the figures or sets you were interested in.

Thanks guys!

*Phew*, I just put up nearly everything for sale and posted 43 separate auctions for everything, many sets, etc. you can check everything out here:
Petsku's Transformers Auctions

I didn't list the French Ceji variations (the Ceji Devastator, Ceji Seekers, and Ceji Insecticons) because I already found a buyer for them on the forums here, but nearly everything else is posted on those auctions. Only a few separate figures left to be put up for sale, but I will post them up soon, or see if I can find a buyer for them here maybe.

Thanks again you guys for all the help, advice, and interest.

Hey Fighbird,

Yeah I got a whole lot of requests for the Ceji Devastator, and decided to sell it to a respected member here who made me such a kind offer and helped me out so much, providing lots of advice and sharing knowledge, etc.

On top of all the other auctions for figures and sets, I have now also begun to list more separate figures for sale, starting from 1 dollar like:

- Hardhead, Headmaster Autobot + Instructions
- Chromedome, Headmaster Autobot
- Hot Spot + Instructions
- Snarl Dinobot + Instructions
- Scourge + Instructions

...I will list even more soon! All sales here:
Petsku's Transformers Sales

Thanks again to everyone here for being so kind and helpful, and offering all the advice and words of wisdom!

So it didn't matter that I asked about it first? Hmm, okay, that's not how I would do business personally. But each to their own, I guess.

Besides, I can guess who that person is anyway... wink2.gif Figured as much that he got them since he's just sold me some stuff I've been looking hard for to pay for your things, so I guess everything worked out for all in the end...! tongue.gif

Hey Fighbird,

Yes of course I seem to remember you being one of the first to ask me about the Ceji Devastator, however at that point I had only begun my quest to sell my entire collection in one and thought I might be able to find a buyer for one big bundle, and didn't want to at that point already to start making deals for individual figures or small sets, since I had no idea what was going to happen and what sort of offers I would end up getting.

Very soon, offers and requests started coming in from around the world, on other forums, here, and then especially on eBay when I finally posted the entire collection for sale as one big set. 10 days from that, when the big bundle auction ended and I couldn't find a collector who would've bought everything in one, I begun to post everything for sale separately and in sets, and oh boy... I was soon getting overwhelmed with new requests, offers and questions coming in from collectors all around the world.

The Ceji Devastator was one of the most requested figures/sets of all my variations, I can't even begin to remember all the people who wanted to buy him and for what price, who were among the first to ask about me about selling him to them separately, etc...

In the end, even though I received one especially great offer from a collector from the US to buy him, instead, I decided to sell him, for many times less, to the person who helped me out most with all my sales and the entire collection by giving me advice, information and sharing all his knowledge regarding all the variations as well as countless other tidbits of information and pointers all the years of collecting had provided him with - because I simply felt it was the right thing to do.

I sincerely apologize if I have upset anyone in any way whatsoever over the course of this whole process, that was never my intention, I always wish to conduct all my sales and trades with honesty, respect and consideration truly for everyone involved.

I thank you all once again for the extremely kind and warm welcome you've given me here on these forums, and all the information, knowledge and advice you've shared with me.

Best Regards,

PHEW.

It's done - I've now listed each and every figure from my collection for sale - there were 150+ different figures and so I've now put up about 70 separate auctions, many sets (like Autobot Cars, and combiner groups like Bruticus, etc.) and many separate and individual figures.
All of Petsku's G1 Transformers Sales

I've never sold this many items on eBay before. I gotta say this was quite an endeavor. Even when I close my eyes, I see Transformers. The first of all the auctions will end in less than 3 days from now, and the final one (for the Decepticon Seeker, Cyclonus), will come to a close in a little over 4 days from now.

At least I think I can now rest safely assured that these figures will find good new homes, and be appreciated by likeminded collectors, wherever in the world it is they are going to.

Thanks once more to all - this was quite an interesting and fun ride - getting to know fellow Transformers collectors and enthusiasts from all corners of the Earth, hearing and learning from them, and sharing this experience.

My final update consists of the following listings:

- Micromasters: Air Strike Patrol 100% Complete, Mint C9.5 + Techspecs (Still on Card)
- Micromasters: Off Road Patrol 100% Complete + Techspecs (Still on Card)
- Micromasters: Race Car Patrol + Techspecs (Still on Card)

- Sparkabot: Fizzle
- Sparkabot: Guzzle C8.5 - C9.0 (Weird thing is, his spark wheel is backwards - he must reverse to "spark", is this normal or a factory defect?)
- Sparkabot: Sizzle, Near Mint C9.0

- Throttlebot: Goldbug
- Throttlebot: Searchlight
- Throttlebot: Wideload, Near Mint C9.0+

- Autobot Jumpstarter: Topspin

- Decepticon Seeker: Thrust + Instructions
- Decepticon Seeker: Cyclonus 100% Complete, Near Mint (being the last of all my TFs to be auctioned, I'm starting his bidding at $1, for fun)

...And there you have it. With these, a seriously fond memory and a significant chapter of my past will come to a close, and a new one will begin. Who knows, maybe someday I will get back into the world of Transformers, but for now, I have to go and try to make one dream of mine a reality.

Thanks guys,
Petsku

P.S.
Never selling my Soundwave and Megatron though.
Gotta draw the line somewhere.

Hey guys,

This is exciting, for me, I've never sold so many items on eBay before - every auction is coming to an end - the first two just closed, for the Decepticon group Bruticus, and Autobot Cars (Hoist, Jazz, Inferno, Red Alert, Sideswipe, Tracks), 67 more auctions to go:
150+ Different G1 Transformers

But, with all the extra parts, and some instruction booklets that were left over (belonged to figures I sold away way back in the 80s), I was wondering if I should put them up for sale as well...

They are the following:

Accessories:

Dinobots:
- Grimlock Sword, Chromed (Diaclone variation? Italian variation? It was chromed when it came in its original box when I bought it from a store back in the 80s, don't remember where and when anymore...)
- Sludge Missile Launcher & 2 Italian Safety Missiles (big round rubber tips)

Autobot Cars:
- Mirage Missiles x2
- Prowl Missile Launchers (x2)

- Runamuck Gun
- Puch Counterpunch Gun (black)

Technobots:
- Afterburner Guns (x3)
- Lightspeed Gun (the smallest of his guns, that looks different than the other two)
- Nosecone Guns x2 (his big guns)
- Strafe Gun (the smallest of his guns)

Instruction Booklets:
- Doublespy
- Galvatron
- Highbrow
- Scorponok
- Sureshot

*Phew*. Gotta start packing, and shipping a whole lot of stuff soon...

Cheers,
Petsku

I can take scorponok's instructions if you are willing to sell it here
