Oh yes, Bruticus will make a return it seems in upcoming "Fall of Cybertron" game AND it seems we even will get the toys! Link So far this looks amazing and very promising, 5 deluxes that will combine! I really hope this will actually will be released and Hasbro doesn't drop the boll on this one! Just imagine having this next to Fansproject Bruticus
Heh. I was just going to post news about this Bruticus set. This is a really cool news. I just hope that this isn't goin to be some super limited edition and its not going to FE Prime-incident all over again.

I'd say a figure consisting of five unique figures being limited edition is very, very unlikely...
That said, the Swindle didn't look very good and Brawl looks good but nowhere near as Brawl usually looks. But I'm guessing the transformations suffer a bit as usual to be combinable.

Seems really promisable. I like to see how the rest of the group looks like.

Here is somekind of a group pic. Though not of toys, but I would assume that the actual toys might be rather similar
Looks very promising indeed! Combined mode looks really impressive, and even though Onslaught is "only" Deluxe sized, hist torso mode doesn't look too spindly like this. Vehicle mode is another thing, though...
Ain't feeling Blast Off or Vortex, though... Probably makes sense in a WfC/FoC context, but Brawl and Swindle definitely look the best as of now, IMO.

I feel really impressed about the Combaticons and Bruticus. I believe they will be a certain buy for me.

I seriously hope that when combined and transformed correctly, it would be more like this (note that this is photoshopped image by a fan):
That looks WAY better. One thing that struck me right away was that the guns really ought to go on the back. It's a far too important detail on the character model to ignore.
I have to say, even if it doesn't turn out as good as that photoshop. From those early pictures alone and given the budget constraints they have to work with, pulling of a completely self-contained combiner with members in the deluxe pricepoint is incredibly impressive! Onslaught doesn't look all that good thus far, but I'll reserve judgement until we have better pictures, as there's still a chance that there's some level of mistransformation.

This set looks SO amazing! Even if they don't get released in these metallic colors they are still a must buy! Vortex looks a little strange and I think a vehicle mode like a cybertronian v22 (or Starcraft 2 Banshee) would be better but this is still nice. Blastoff looks crazy, can't help but think he belongs the "Heart of steel" universe some how, lol!

Arhhh the torso looks good the rest is outta proportion. Why is all the bulk on his lower arms and not shoulders... looks a bit gorillaish. Not sure it's something I would invest in.

TEH Horror:
I just don't like that a one bit . Colors are off-putting and those arms, and now legs, look really stupid. I for one don't know any safety reasons or whatever to make them to look and hang out like that. IMO that's just lame.
Well, maybe I just buy jazz, optimus and shockwave for this bruticus is quite easy pass for me.

I for one am tickled pink. Finally a worthy combiner in, what, 12 years (JRX and Build King being the last ones in my book).
I like the colors! I like the proportions! I like the individual designs! I like that Blast Off isn't gold anymore (phew)! Like someone else said: The 3rd party guys are going to have a field day with this...

I just don't get why they had to use Vortex's colour scheme from the Universe line (Ruination). Make him grey.

TEH Horror:
I think it is the pose makes him look a bit off here, but the arms proportions are still a bit strange. I still think this looks amazing due and hope to get them! Anybody know when these will start selling?

Well you can have my copy of that thing if you like...more toys for you Though I might buy Swindle. He is not that bad. The only thing that still puzzles me is, that if and when some 3rd party manufacturer does some cool updrage set, the price of this set will go up like a rocket. Hmmm should I invest ...well maybe not.

Seems like a rather nice set of figures. Although i don't know how big the chances of it showing up here are.

So Toyfair gave us some more transformers and Bruticus pictures, this video sums it up, I guess
Direct link Love Jazz and Shockwave, everything else is kind of crap
Bruticus seems to have a hollow back?
Direct link Does this bother anyone? I don't like it but I'm ok with it.

Personally, I don't think it looks that bad. It's far from perfect though and I honestly would've gladly given up the Scramble ability if it meant that the other modes didn't suffer as much. It's a nice throwback, but seeing as it's presumably not an ability featured in the game I honestly don't care much for it.
Either way, I want one as long as I can get it for a decent price. eBay prices are quite up there at the moment and they apparently sold out both at SDCC and on HTS almost instantly. It wouldn't surprise me if the prices got even more crazy after the game comes out either.

Yeah. He still looks awful even with game accurate colors. Man, what a disapointing contraption. Though in the end of this review there are some hints how to change the overall appearance. Like, how to make those gorilla arms shorter.
I might try to buy all five of them for the regular (and awful colored) version, and then do some heavy customizing. I'm pretty sure that after a while Procustomizers forum will have more that one interesting consepts about how to customize this one. Then again, does this even give one a good start to do a custom version. There is so many things I would have to change. Maybe it would just be better to buy that Fans Project customizing kit + those bots

The Bruticus box is nice, but $200+ for this combiner on eBay is too much. I like the individual Combaticon figures, though, especially Blast-Off. But the other figures, and specifically Shockwave, are a bit of a let-down. However, having said that, I don't own any of these (yet), so I might change my mind at some point .
