So Transformers Revenge of The Fallen is soon comming out on DVD and Blu-Ray here in the nordics.
The release date seems to be 24th November November here in Denmark at least.
Like when the first movie came out we got a lot of diffrent versions;
Dvd 1-disc, 2-disc, Steelcase 2-disc, Transforming Prime 2-disc pack, HD version (that format didnt survive ... ) and later came the Blu-Ray one.
So .. which version are you planning on buying this time, for RoTF?
Well if Blockbuster comes out with another Steelbox 2-disc version, like they did with the first movie + included a hat, I'll probably pick up that one.
If not, then I'll go for the DVD 2-disc version.

It depends on the artwork. With the first film I chose the 1-disc DVD, since that cover was better than the others. It was an easy choice, since the bonus features on the second disc didn't sound particularly interesting either.

I've seen pre-orders for the single disc for 84Dkk - so I think I pick that one up.

I might opt for the version that contains both the first and second movie in blu-ray. I only got the first one on DVD.

I've decided to get the steelbook edition so that it'll match the first movie on my DVD shelf. And I plan to do the same with the third one, as long as they release a steelbook that is.

I will get one of the BluRay releases. I'm hoping that someone will release the WalMart version with the IMAX footage like they did with the Dark Knight, but if I can't get that one, any version will do.

I bought the 2-disc steelbook DVD edition first and then the Blu-Ray HD release when that became available. I saw no reason in buying each and every variant DVD release; it was the movie I wanted to see. But the steelbook DVD cover was the most attractive. Guess I'll go down the same route with ROTF, if they make a steelbook edition this time as well.

I have already ordered the Special Edition. So that's been taken care of

I have ordered the ROTF Blu-Ray edition from CDON.COM. Release date is set to November 18th, which is actually one week ahead of the regular DVD release. It's an interesting approach. Does this mean expensive high-definition releases are finally becoming more mainstream, eating into the regular DVD market? Or is it just pure coincidence the Blu-Ray ROTF release gets a head start? Anyway, I'm all for it. The sooner, the better. I can't wait. I never went to see this at the cinema, so I'm feeling a bit hypocritical, being a
die-hard fan and yet not watching the movie in its natural habitat. Hmmm

I received my Bumbelbee 2 disc DVD today

one day early.. The post-office were kind enough to send out a note saying that I could pick it up after 6PM instead of waiting to tomorrow.
