Finally, I have taken som better snapshots of my own G2 Stunticon project. I will post one thread per character, so as to minimize bandwidth usage (as I have 28 big images in total... happy.gif ).

Breakdown is probably the least interesting of them all, as he was somewhat quite available in the fan community being the very first BotCon exclusive way back in 1994, so pictures of him are quite common. I have a "thing" against replicating toys that are (perhaps in a limited way, but still) readily available, but he is obviously pretty instrumental in forming Menasor, so I couldn't quite skip him -- and besides, I just love Lambos... wink2.gif

Breakdown is the least toy-accurate one of them all, since I had a really hard time tracking down a suitable blue/green color for him. Doesn't match completely (mine is too "dull" and flat), and neither does the purple (which is much too dark), but I think these colors work pretty good none the less. All details were made in Photoshop and printed on regular paper stock, hand cut and glued on.

I prefer Breakdown out of the bunch. And actually I prefer your paint scheme over the original G2 - yours is more vivid and vibrant.

Thanks, man! smile.gif

Actually, I've been thinking about experimentation with some new colors I just got in, and may redo Breakdown in more "toy accurate" colors.

But I tend to agree: The colors are actually more balanced in these darker/paler hues, so I'm not in an immediate hurry to start paintin'... wink2.gif
