I tried to recreate Soundwave's voice using a standard computer microphone and Soundforge 7. Even though it was a failure IMO, it still sounds kinda cool. Maybe something for fansubs? wink2.gif

Check out this soundclip with two different versions of the voice I made:

Dang, link trouble... I'll post it on youtube.

Thanks smile.gif Which one was the best; the first or the second?
Lucar-tron
I think the second one is the best.

Is this program a high-end expensive one?
How did you alter your voice, with delay in forms of a flanger/reverb or what?
I tried Soundwave too,but ended up with a crappy Megatron and a delirious Starscream on helium.
Inkku

Sound Forge 7 is quite high-end, yes, created by the same people who made Acid and Vegas. I think 9 is the latest version; I bought mine used at Musikbörsen in Malmö for 500 SEK, which is just a fraction of the retail price when buying new. I recorded my voice first, with the same growling Frank Welker used, and then I added vocoder and a slow-phasing flanger, and finally I lowered the pitch a couple of semitones.

yea the second one sounds more like him thumbs.gif
