I was wondering if it would be possible to have a view that would show a list of the items that you've ordered from the NTFA store and the status of each item, like "Ordered", "Paid" and "Delivered"? This view could be available from your own profile. Would this be hard to implement to the current system?

The reason, I'm asking this because it would be easier to keep track what you've ordered each month. I know that I can always check these things from my email but then there is the trouble of going through your emails. A single view would be much easier.

Alternatively, would it be possible to include current outstanding orders into the delivery receipt, which is included with delivered comics/items?

A new and improved NTFA Store with such features (among many others) is on my list of things to do, and I hope to start working on it no later than July (possibly June).
At the moment it's not possible since everything but the order forms themselves is handled offline - your orders are sent to me by e-mail, and then I enter them manually into a FileMaker database. Unfortunately there's no easy way to transfer the database to the web since it wasn't created with customer access in mind, so I will have to create a new store/database from scratch.

I agree! Now I'm having notes all over the apartment to remember things. And sometimes scribbles on my hand. hmmm.gif

I fully understand the problem. Sometimes the chore of keeping track of everything is overwhelming for me as well, even though I have all the orders stored. The biggest problem is that at the moment I have no system that (re-)calculates postage automatically, so every time someone orders a new subscription I have to go back and look at what orders that person already had in place for the months the subscription spans. That's tedious work.
It's also cumbersome having to move over last month's titles/issues to the backissues order form every time a new order period starts, and manually removing backissues every time a title/issue/cover sells out. It takes a lot of time.

But like I said, I'm planning to create a new and improved store this summer. It's the next thing on my agenda, after an overhaul of the website - I'm already working on that task.

When it comes to the store, would it be possible to use a slightly larger font in the descriptions of the various items? I find them rather hard to read, even when I use my glasses.

Well, larger fonts would make the page even longer, and there are other people who would prefer not to have the descriptions there at all, since they spoil the story. I will probably make it possible to configure whether to show the descriptions or not, and/or to simply hide/reveal the description with a simple click on a button, and with such a feature in place I can start using a larger font for the descriptions. So, short answer: in the new store, yes. tongue.gif
