During the Finnish NTFA meet, we got to discussing who has the biggest Transformers collection.
I think I had the biggest collection in Finland at one time, but not any more. I don't think I even have the biggest one in Helsinki. The biggest one in Finland could be Psychotron's.
Lars had the biggest collection in the Nordic countries for a long time, but now I think Frank and Hild have overtaken him.
Blue-Jackal (the British girl I visited in 1999) may have the biggest collection in the UK, but I don't think it's the biggest collection in Europe.
The biggest collection in the world must belong to Jon and Karl Hartman. They have pretty much every toy ever released, with multiple copies of some toys.

I still have the biggest loose collection though, with figures that I can look at and play with whenever I want without worrying that it will decrease the value. smile.gif

How about comics? Who are the comic freaks? I've got probably 200 Transformers comics, but I guess atleast Lars here have incredibly more.

I could propably be called a comic freak. At least concerning Marvel era. Nowadays I'm missing only few stories Marvel UK published.

I don't think that my collection is largest in Finland. I think that though I haven't counted my collection for a good while, the numeral majority is in Osku's collection. I've as a matter of fact tried to slow down as much as possible my collecting and concentrate on individual figures.

Well, I suppose that includes me, too on a certain level. I've got quite a huge amount of 80's and 90's Spider-Man and X-Men comics. I've got every single Transformer comic published in Finland and plenty of imports. I also have the Finnish G.I.Joes from the beginning to some point of 94 (the end of TF G2 story). Then lots of other Marvel comics, Asterixes, Tintins, Lucky Lukes, Natachas, Spirous, Tex Willers, Donald Duck pockets, Korkeajännitys and individual albums. I hate to admit that most of my comics are in our basement storage but such an amoun simply poses a logistical problem which isn't easily solved. sad.gif

I think Tony Preto has the most complete TF collection in the world. He has almost every TF released, only missing most of the lucky draw figures and some promotional minicons. As far as I know, I have the second largest collection in Europe. I know "transformers@themoon" have more than me. They have a bunch of lucky draw figures too, but not so many boxed figures. There could of course be others, but that collection and the "autobot city" collection from that dutch guy are the only ones that come close as far as I know. I something over 1300 transformers, plus about 100 extras. I have somewhere between 700 and 800 boxes.

I was recently in touch with a guy named Peter from Sweden that bought my Battle Gaia. He said he's missing about 30 figures to have every G1 released by Hasbro and Takara. But he's not a member of the ntfa sad.gif

Does anybody know who the Finnish guy with the black diaclone Tracks is?
