Use this thread to show us what you got recently. Just listing it is fine, but pictures and comments is of course more interesting smile.gif

Yesterday, I got a canadian G1 Megatron MiB. In my opinion, the original Megatron has the nicest packaging in transformers history. I was literally dreaming about it as a kid, so it feels really nice to finally have it in my hands.

The canadian release is also quite funny:

So we have a new thread, when we should tell the others what we have got.  smile.gif

All right here is my first post here, and what I have received last friday:

On the picture you can see from the left:
Cybertron - Cybertron Defense Red Alert
Cybertron - Megatron
Cybertron - Cybertron Defense Scattorshot
Cybertron - Mudflap

I got them all from Toyz and Gamez in England.  smile.gif

This was a little step closer to get my Cybertron collection complete.  bounce1.gif

Alt Smokescreen MISB.

i'd say about C8. A crease on a corner and slightly on the window.

Now I have the complete Alt line up MISB up to Windcharger, except Tracks.

Doesn't anyone think it's odd that Frank's Megatron box says autobot?

I just knew you were going to say that, so I had added in parenthesis 'I know it only says utobot because of the tear, but..' but I deleted it before I posted because my point wasn't drawing attention to the tear but to the misprint.. You nitpicker, you! *Insert smiley that sticks its tongue out at you*

Gotta love that British sense of humour smile.gif But the misprint is kind of funny actually, especially when it's Megatron we're talking about.

Very nice! smile.gif Oh, and I do envy you. wink2.gif I still haven't come across with box for my Megs. Haven't had the time to make a gun case from wood either. Oh, who am I kidding. I'm just plain lazy. tongue.gif

Sorry 'bout double posting....

Anyway, I got THS-02 Hybrid Style Convoy yesterday, actually a month before I expected. Domo arigatoogozaimasu, HLJ!

The figure was even smaller than I had imagined but the articulation and details - and the transformation! All in a less than 10 cm figure. I honestly think this guy is more articulated than MP-01. A nice G1-homage is a set of detachable hands. There are four pairs of hands in different positions. The fists can be left attached when in vehicle mode, though. The transformation is complex but easy to learn. A word of caution, though. This is not the TF toy you want to give your nephew to play with. I was actually surprised I didn't break anything during the transformation.

The vehicle mode is not much to brag about. Maybe better than RM Convoy, though.

It was quite late so I didn't fiddle with the trailer. Roller, however is nicely designed with turning wheels in front and back axles. Not bad for a toy smaller than a matchbox.

All in all simply the best OP variant. Ever.

Yesterday, I received both my ultimate holy grails (except for diaclone swoop...). Battle Gaia and Guard City! These are the most rare G1 figures out there. More rare than canadian pepsi prime, the piranacon giftset or the dinocassettes. Well, maybe red tracks is harder to find... They were only released in Japan, in the final G1 series - Operation: Combination. Unlike the micromaster combiners from the same series, these two larger ones sold poorly and was only sold in the largest toy stores. So poorly, in fact, that a common theory is that most of the ones that are in collector's hands now are store overstock.

Guard City

Mint condition, almost flawless box with no flap crease. Two stickers have been applied.

Battle Gaia

Mint condition, very slight wear and flap crease on box. Stickers applied, all paperwork except instructions are missing.

I feel like having a party now smile.gif
