Hmmm. The new legs removes the hip kibble and fixes the feet for better stability. Since some parts are reused I guess he's the same size though. But over $200 is a ridiculous price. I really hope they aren't releasing someone I actually want from now on.

I'm still half expecting a brand new Megatron at some point as well. Let's face it; MP-05 was a real feat of engineering, but as a toy, it's shit...

And most likely MP-12 is Megatron. I don't have the first one yet so I might consider getting him -of course in that case the new MP Megatron sees the light od day. Let's see if they'll make new Grimlock also... dry.gif

That new Starscream is as cool as Masterpieces usually are, but I'm not really interested about the figure (or character) at all, so like I do with most expensive figures, I'll skip this one also. biggrin.gif

I like this one a lot actually. Looks like it's keeping all the good parts of the initial design and redoing all the bad things that Kawamori forced on the design due to his own personal preferences. The coronation gear in particular looks amazing!
$200 is indeed steep though... I'll wait and see. smile.gif

I actually have older hasbro MP Starscream so this is most likely pass for me. New Megatron could actually be welcome, for I don't have this current version and it seems too flimsy for my taste.

Looks like an interesting Masterpiece figure, but the pricetag does put me off. Which is the reason why I don't own any Masterpiece figures. sad.gif

Well... guess they're out of ideas. Looks like it's 2.0's all the way from now on.

I was hoping that after MP Rodimus they would make Galavatron into a masterpiece or perhaps even characters from Headmasters, Masterforce or Victory. How awesome/huge/expensive would a Masterpiece Star Saber be?

At least they're releasing it with the G1 color-scheme, I was never a fan of the greenish gray of the MP-03 and since I don't own that I might get this one instead.

They might make Galvatron also, but first they must release version 2 of Megatron (somewhat cartoon accurate) so he can "evolve" into cartoon accurate Galvatron. Ultra Magnus is potential Masterpiece character as well while it seems that they're doing these cartoon(and The Movie)-styled Masterpiece figures. What a great plea to stay away from more exotic characters. biggrin.gif Nothing against hopefully upcoming MPs like Ultra Magnus and Galvatron, but comic-inspired Thunderwing or Scorponok with Zarak would be awesome as well. Though I think that Takara is more interested about making cartoon stuff so thumbs up for Victory characters. Not necessarily Masterpieces (my wallet would feel quite ripped off) but why not to make United figures of them?

After seeing colored pictures I must say that Starscream looks indeed cool, but I can't see the value of it. Yes, it's nice and it's extremely G1-accurate in many ways, but like I thought about MP10 OP, I just don't think it's worth of 200$+postages.

I was actually going to correct you about that, but Tformer beat me to it.
Oh well, I still think that the price is high, considering that the price is 1539 in SEK. Though I can always wait and see what happens.

Sorry guys but your futile attemt to correct me is wrongo.

HLJ =Early bird price is 10.400 Yen ( about 135$) Reguler price is 13000 Yen so around 170 or so.

Another japanese site has it for 11050 Yen for early bird and a listed reguleer price of 13000

So NO it does not cost a 220 USD. So if one wants one then just go and pre order it from HLJ for a wopping low 136 USD + shipping.

and BBTs has it for 159+shipping...

220...my arse..Seibertron.

Oh, that changes everything then. smile.gif I had no idea that Hlj & Co had put up pre-orders already. And there were no links in the original article other than Kapow.

Not that it matters much for us Scandinavians though. Taking shipping and customs fees into account chances are it would land around the €150 spot anyway if one would order it from one of the Japanese retailers.
