I think that most of you should already have seen the announcement ten days ago, but it can't hurt to place it here as well, in case someone has forgotten or visits this subforum without looking at the news:

Here's one of our plans for NordCon 2010: We have a lot of talented artists among the NTFA members, and we would like to acknowledge that - to celebrate the creative spark, and maybe even inspire other TransFans to create more artwork, build their own kitbashes and displays, and to write fanfics.

We have already mentioned, in the general information for NordCon 2010, that we are doing an art competition again this year, this time with categories for both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional works (more on that soon). But what about the Nordic TransFans who can't make it to NordCon? How can we get them involved? Here's the idea: We aspire to create a combined convention programme/magazine, with some information on the convention itself, a bio on our special convention figure, one or two articles, plus the fans' artwork and fanfics!

This is quite a challenge, and we can't promise any specific page count, or even that the magazine becomes a reality at all (that depends on you), but we are at least going to try! If we can make it happen, the magazine will be handed out for free at the convention, and everyone else will have an opportunity to buy it at a low cost. Take the chance! Show your work in printed form, in a format that is created specifically to show the fans' works!

As an added incentive to participate, we will award a prize to one or two entries - namely, a copy of this year's convention figure, otherwise available only to the convention-goers!

Read about the convention magazine and the rules for contributing to it here!
