Wait a minute... NordCon?? Yes, that's right! We have discussed the name over the last couple of months, and we have come to the conclusion that with the plans and ideas we have for both this year's convention and future conventions, we have outgrown the name "Mini-Con".

As many of you are aware, Mini-Con was a self-ironic name that we chose for our first few get-togethers in Finland, Norway and Sweden. At that time we didn't really think that we would be able to pull off a real convention, so we thought we would have to settle for "mini-conventions". But thanks to BigPete and Fighbird we did get a convention of our own, in Arlöv 2007. Okay, it was still a rather modest convention, with just 30 participants, but it did whet the appetite for more. Much more.

And here we are again, with a second convention in 2010. But now we're aiming for the big league. We're not settling for "mini-conventions" anymore. So no more "Nordic Mini-Con" - we've scrapped the middle part, and now we are simply NordCon!
