It's fairly common nowadays to include so called "easter eggs" on DVD; hidden extra features. The Special Edition release of Transformers has some extra goodies, if you can find them...

Luckily, I've found them all and here's a list on how to get your extra share of goodies:

Insert the first disc in the player and after viewing the film, make sure to run the entire end credits. Once the film and credits have completed you will be taken to a separate menu screen which gives you access to two video clips. The first one is the 'Iron Man' movie trailer, and the second one is the 'Transformers' teaser trailer. This should work on the single-disc version as well, but since I don't have that one, I can't tell.

Now insert the second disc of the set in your DVD player and on the Main Menu highlight the 'Settings' menu entry. Now press the 'Right' arrow key on your remote control and the mask of Optimus Prime will appear as an icon. Press 'enter' now and you will get to view the DVD credits.

Now select 'Our World' from the Main Menu and on the following screen highlight the menu entry 'I Fight Giant Robots.' Now press the 'Down' arrow key on your remote control and an icon of Bumblebee’s face will appear. Press 'enter' now and you will get to see an amusing commercial for the 'Baybot,' a transformer that looks like director Michael Bay.

Back on the Main Menu, select 'Their War' and on the following screen highlight the entry 'Inside The All Spark.' Now press the 'Left' arrow key on your remote control and Frenzy’s face will appear as an icon, giving you access to some behind-the-scenes footage as Michael Bay’s cameo in the movie is prepped and shot.

Now, go to the 'More Than Meets The Eye' section and highlight the menu entry 'From Script To Sand.' Press the 'Up' arrow key on your remote control and Ratchet will appear. When you press 'Enter' you will now get to see a short clip called 'Casting Mojo,' about the casting of the film’s pint-sized dogs.

Still in the 'More Than Meets The Eye' section, select the menu entry 'Trailers' and there highlight 'Trailer 4.' Press the 'Right' arrow key on your remote control to highlight the icon of Ironhide’s face and then press 'Enter.' This will give you the chance to view a clip about the special effects man enjoying his job that day, as they work on the Xbox-Transformer effects.

And there you go smile.gif
