I just got the latest leaflet from the cinema "myntet" in Avesta here in Sweden and it features an ad for Transformers laugh.gif

Note how it says Friday 3/8!

Can it be a type-o or is it just that myntet will show the movie a month later? doesn't make sence to me?

Oh and if this should have been part of another thread, please merge this with it blush2.gif

Most likely due to that "Myntet" is a local small town cinema, and not your average bigshot SF facility.

Yeah I thought about that too but then I took a closer look at the leaflet and they are showing, The Simpsons, Walt disneys: The robinson family, Fantastic four: Rise of the silver surfer, Die hard 4.0 and Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix on their Swedish premiere dates, The rest of the movie son the leaflet are re-runs, IE movies that've just had their premieres.

This made me think if it may have been a type-o since Transformers hasn't premiered yet...

Seems they're still going with one of the old dates. Even in Stockholm SF Bio advertised the wrong date just a month ago, when they had put up a lot of posters listing summer's all film openings.

It could be that the movie actually doesn't open until August in Avesta. When me and my fiancee visited her parents in Gamleby (another small place, about 2500 inhabitants) a couple of years ago, Pirates of the Caribbean went up there almost two months after the official premier date.
