My lack of batteries is no more. And at the same time I got two videos and a Twix -chocolate bar. The batteries: 5 packages of 16 batteries, 1 euro each. And two videos, 1,67 euros each. So... it's 5 + 3,34 + 0,40... that makes... 8,74. Hey, now that's cheap!

1 euro for a package of 16 batteries?? Wow, that's not only cheap, it's... there's no word for it, even! We have to pay some 3-5 euro for a package of 4 batteries.

That's probably because we have Tarjoustalo.
http://www.tarjoustalo.fi/english/index.htm

They sell everything very cheap.. much like a bigger and better Lidl. Ya know, 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' - the Finnish version - was only 23,80.

And most movies are about 10 euros, and DVD's 14,80.

This is our Tarjoustalo in Klaukkala:
http://www.tarjoustalo.fi/english/klaukkala.htm

And see this:
http://www.tarjoustalo.fi/english/tarjoukset.htm
You see? That Motocross bike is only 199 euros. Aren't they usually about 1000 euros or something?

I went to Germany yesterday for a concert, Moi Dix Mois, a japanese goth"metal" band.

At the venue I bought the official tour t-shirt and patch.

On the airport on my way home earlier today I bought a 0,5l bottle of Jack Daniel's, together with a 5 cl bottle of Jack, 2 4cl bottles of Jägermeister and a 5cl bottle of Absolut Vodka.

Yeah, that's a fake. I have a fake Raphael with similiar red weapons that I got as a kid. The fake Raph is actually pretty cool, because it's colored to look like the Turtles in the original bw comic's covers.

Yesterday I bought a Dragon Ball Z movie on VHS (normally I wouldn't buy VHS anymore, but it was extremely cheap) . The packaging promises it has the Japanese voices - but it doesn't: it has some horribly bad English dub that has many of the names wrong. I'm going to complain to the company that released it and demand a free copy of the DVD version (since I have their DVD version of one of the other DBZ movies, I know those at least have the Japanese voices).

A new issue of Viz. Read it and see...
God and Satan have a long-jump competition!
A piano getting involved in the ghetto hood scene!
Elton John trying to run an electrical appliance scam!
Household pets going on strike because of too low wages!
A superhero fridge arresting criminals!
Bread on a sofa!

Edit: Now this is what I call just my luck. There was a lottery ticket provided with the magazine, so I decided to scratch it. Well, what do I know? It's a winning ticket! I'm eligible for a prize of at least £150, maybe even £1 million!

...if I lived in the UK or Ireland, that is. As it happens, this ticket isn't worth wiping my butt on.

God and Satan have a long-jump competition!

Who won?

I got Mr. Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from the 80's Ghostbusters toyline. I need to wash some stains, otherwise in perfect condition. Cost me only a couple of euros and that was mainly shipping.

And then from Frank... GA-GA-GA-GAOGAIGAR!
Apart from some sticker wear (mostly on Liner Gao) and the lack of Dividing Driver, it's in perfect condition. I haven't yet tried combining it into GaoGaiGar, so currently it's standing on top of a bookcase as GaiGar and the three Gao Machines. I knew the combined form would be big, but for some reason I didn't realise that it would mean GaiGar would also be quite huge in itself. A really nice toy, now I'll have to hunt down other Yuusha robots as well (esp. Goldymarg, since he combines with GaoGaiGar).
