Now so can I play Team Fortress 2 and Skyrim among others without using my computer bursting into flames. XD

This just made my week and it's only Monday!
A good while back, Bandai announced that they'd expand their D-arts Rockman X line with Vava (AKA Vile in the west). Now, I'm a huge fan of the first entry in the X series and have collected every standard release D-arts thus far, only skipping last years SDCC Exclusive Metallic X and the Tamashii Event Exclusive Manga Ver. X.
However, Vava also turned out to be an exclusive, only available at Bandai's Tamashii Webshop.
Thankfully a US company known as Bluefin have recently started importing Tamashii Nations products and are distributing them via various comic & hobby shops in the US and they managed to secure a substantial amount of Vavas.
Needless to say, I'm beaming right now! biggrin.gif

This made my week. A Figma Samus Aran, and it's a really beautiful toy. ^^

Oh and I bought train tickets to Linköping, because I will go at Närcon that's held from Thursday to Sunday this week. biggrin.gif

Awesome! smile.gif

I'm still waiting on my Samus. I was going to ship it via EMS instead of Sal, but for some reason Hlj's new site didn't process my request to change shipping methods.

I'm sorry to hear that.
But I can assure you that you will not be dissapointed of Samus. She can do a lot of stances (with and without the stand).

I was planning on getting that too but kinda forgot about it.
Now I can't find it on HLJ, maybe a second chance will come.

If you don't want to take any chances I recommend keeping an eye on AmiAmi. They've been getting quite a few restocks of Samus recently.

Samus arrived today! You're absolutely right about the poseability! First thing I had to do was to put her in the classic kneeling pose from the Metroid II artwork.

It's definitely a good time to be a gamer and a toy collector. Between this, the upcoming Link figma, D-arts and Neca getting hold of various Valve licenses, we're having it pretty good!

I upgraded my Kingston V-series Gen2 SNV425S 64GB SSD SATA-2.0 to an Intel 330 Series 120GB SSD SATA-3.0.

Installing was pretty easy. Using Intel cloning software I cloned my windows installation onto the new SSD. All done in less than 30 minutes.
It was a nice boost especially on "write".
The old Kingston is now used for games.

Kingston SSD

Intel SSD

Windows Experience Index (WEI)

Only my Intel Core i7 3820 3.6GHz CPU is keeping the score from a full 7.9.

Ever get one of those times where you're both pleased and disappointed at the same time?

I am pleased with how great looking these figures are...and disappointed by the fact that their proton packs are glued on, meaning I've no way of even finding out if they fit inside the Ecto-1!
