Received a nice and large package from our very own SureShot this morning smile.gif

SureShot have managed to send me into a "nostalgia mode".
I have great memories of the original Megazord. It holds great emotional value to me.. but that's a story for another day!

Then we have Mystic Force Titan Megazord / MagiKing.
Without a doubt one of the best Megazords ever made!
The red Phoenix Zord goes with my Wolkaiser, and vice versa!

I got a new camera today!

It's a Nikon Coolpix L25, a cheap, crappy digital camera that does, however, appear to take far better photos than that some 800 euro piece of crap I used to borrow from my parents ಠ_ಠ

I sold my old hardware that served me well; Asus P7P55WS Supercomputer, Intel Core i7 870 2.93GHz & Cooler Master Hyper 212+ cooler.

So now I've ordered:

Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3 (rev. 1.0) socket 2011, X79 chipset, 3/4-way-SLi capable
Intel Core i7 3820 4 cores/8 threads 3.6GHz (Sandy Brigde-E)
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer i30 Cooler

That should run fine with my 3x GTX 580 which are still more than capable of pushing pixels along with great FPS.

All installed and running.
I decided to swap my 16GB Corsair XMS 3 1333MHz CL9 ram out with 16GB Crucial BallistiX Tactical 1600MHz CL8 ram.

No more upgrades in 2012.

Well it's highly subjective whether you regard it as noisy or not. It's not a machine you'd put in an office environment because of the cooling and high airflow. When just browsing and play somewhat GPU dependant games it's audiable and you can hear it. At high GPU loads you hear the graphic-cards since they are the "loudest" piece of equipment in the PC. But everything is nice and cool.
I don't really pay attention to the noise when I'm playing. For normal internet and office use, I always you my laptop. Less noise and less wattage usage..and the best of all I can use it on the couch smile.gif
