This ladies and gentlemen is my very first kitbash. shown first to you at ntfa.
work in progress.

robot mode

Bayonette mode

knife and gun mode

nice pose

beast mode

beast mode weapon storage

name: Grasp
Affiliation: decepticon
sub-group:terrorcon

Now this is my first kitbash and the paintjob isn't finished yet. some areas need more paint and I shall add some more details.
I know that the robot mode head is rediculusly small but I had nor the materials or the skill to skulpt a new one. and the legs on it's head in beast mode is for climbing in ceilings.

Reminds me of the goombas in Super Mario Bros. the movie laugh.gif I think it works good as a mindless brute since the arms are also oversized in addition to the tiny body. The military green colour also fit the idea of an almost drone-like warrior.

But a one-step transformation is just too basic for me. This guy would make a fine Ninja Turtles villain, though smile.gif

Looks quite funny brute. What have you done yourself? Could you post a pic of the original material? I like the colour scheme. smile.gif

Interesting choice of parts. I am also very suprised that he is able to stand on his own two feet considering the weight and size of the torso.

Nice bot, I like it!

Well the ones I used where a G1 seacon Tentakill, which I removed the tentakles on using a saw. I removed the legs and arms by unscrewing it.
The legs are from a beast-wars fuzor, I believe it was Air-hammer.
I used a regular drill to make screw holes in the body to attach the legs.
The arms are from an old motorised robot from TOMY. A blue one to be more precise. As it walked it swang it's arms forwards and backwards. I used a scalpel and the saw to addapt the pins that held the arms to the blue robot so that they would fit in the Tentakill frame. Then I drilled holes in the pins and in the sides of the body and put to screw's there to fix them in place.
Then I painted it using regular plastic-model paint.

If I find a pic I'l show you the blue robot. But it's an old model kit from 1995. so it'l be hard to find.

Wow! I really like him! I love bulky, powerful characters, and Grasp here is a real powerhouse!

I don't mind the small robot head, and the Fuzor legs work surprisingly well in "beast" mode as well, IMHO. Colors are also excellent -- had me wondering whether the robot torso was a Combaticon originally. biggrin.gif

Very creative -- big credits for that in my book! smile.gif

Well the current one isn't non show accurate either.
check out the later cybertron eps on www.hasbro.com/action and check their tf stuff their. in the later episodes Starscream has a gun instead of a second sword.
