Sweet! thumbs.gif I really enjoyed GaoGaiGar when I watched it couple years ago, although I REALLY hated that little pink haired girl! Every time she opened her mouth it sounded like someone was slaying a pig nearby. pinch.gif

Oh and FINAL was EPIC! thumbs.gif

A ZoomFloppy controller connecting my old Commodore 1541 drive to a modern PC. In about three days, I went through over 300 Commodore 64 disks and tried to transfer them to my PC. Very many worked, but a significant part had read errors that prevented some games from working. Some disks refused to work altogether. I wish I had done this many years earlier. I was able to play The Great Giana Sisters all the way through, thanks to VICE being able to record and resume a snapshot at any given time. On a real Commodore 64, this would not have been possible.

Cool! Have been toying with a similar idea for many yours but with the cassette station instead. Not to transfer or backup games, but to "revitalize" the data on the cassettes - loading them in and re-recording them back onto the same tapes. I have no idea if it'll work, though, but it might prevent "bit rot" for a few more years.

SWEET! Are those transformable?

An aside: I once made a fan-dub of the Fighbird intro with a good friend of mine laying down (by me, badly) translated english lyrics. Next up was the GGG intro, but it never went any further than the idea. GGG has the coolest intro song.

And no, I don't have the recording of the Fighbird dub anymore... sad.gif It should be "out there", but it's 10 years ago I made it, so I wouldn't know where to look. Oh well. smile.gif

Sadly. They aren't transformable, but that sacrifice allows for some pretty darn impressive articulation. Choryujin can even split in half (Gekiryujin has been shown, so there's bound to be some genryujin & Gouryujin action wink2.gif ) and it still has a waist swivel AND an mid-torso balljoint. They're also partially die-cast and come with a ron of extra parts to replicate all the different things they did on the show.

That said. I'd love to pick up CM's big, transformable GGG sometime. But it's a bit out of my pricepoint atm and with it out of productuon, I don't think it ever will be. sad.gif

Two new Blu-Ray's:

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon 3D Two-Disc Special Edition (with transforming Megatron figure/disc case)
Transformers: Dark Of The Moon Limited 3D Edition (4 discs)

Those of you who bought the first Blu-Ray + DVD release before Christmas might have wondered why there was absolutely no extras on the discs. Usually we are treated to at least trailers and some other stuff, but on the first release there was absolutely nothing besides the movie, a pure barebone release. A clear disappointment and missed opportunity? Or perhaps greed? Because with the 3D Blu-Ray special and limited editions we get a bonus disc filled with all sorts of extra goodies. Certainly it was worth the wait, but I can't help feeling a bit cheated on the initial Blu-Ray release. And what about those who haven't bothered to buy a Blu-Ray player; do they really have to buy a Blu-Ray + DVD release and pay a higher price for this, despite the missing extras, and get a disc that they can't even play? Hmm...
