Oh, I had completely forgotten that BotCon is this weekend. Thanks for the videoclips! That last one was indeed fun.

At this point seibertron has plenty of galleries up such as this 3rd party stuff, lol!

But here is a podcast (Good morning Cybertron) I do enjoy (very bad language so maybe only listeners of 18+):

Ugh, I'm so pissed. I had Spinister as a kid and this figure actually looks GOOD (and it's a mold I like).

Aaaaw.. well mate, better try and secure yourself one!

Personally, I really dont care for any of the BotCon stuff this year, except for Metal Hawk and Giga.. I mean Overlord.
Im sick and tired of all the nonsense that's been going on with FunPub in 2012.

Credit card frauds, idiotic responses on their Twitter profile, screwing over the european members, banning artists at BotCon (though they did reverse that) and of course the Hall of Fame! Swindle was in the top 5 folks!.. But they decided to sweep him under the carpet.. sad.gif
Rawrgh!
/endrant.

I don't care for FunPub myself. Quite surprised Hasbro hasn't pulled the plug on them after the CC disaster, really.

FunPub does do decent conventions (from what I've heard). I think that is what is keeping them on good terms with Hasbro in general. Their fan clubs (for both TF and GIJoe) seem like a "bi-product" of being able to keep the licenses at all. The way they run the clubs - and screw over the non-US fans(!) - they seem like an afterthought that they don't even really wanted to bother with if they had the option.

That being said, I'd love to experience a BotCon just once. smile.gif

BotCon isn't all that. It's popular just because of the convention toys, it's official, and it's situated in the US. They have a lot of guests and such because almost everyone live in the States. They don't organize it much better than they do the clubs. I was disappointed after having been there last year.

Really? Wow, that's... discouraging.

Hmmm, maybe I'd better turn my attention to something a bit more local then, eh? I wonder what it might be, though... wink2.gif tongue.gif
