a three meters long metal pole.. weight about five to seven kilos, a handle in the other end and flat metal plate in the other end.. used, for beating the cardboard boxes down, in the compactor..

and it hurts like a [censored] protest.gif [/censored] when that kind of thingy whacks you in the head.. black_eye.gif

it did take a moment to be able to walk straight line, it did take a moment to be able to speak correctly and for a moment, it was difficult to keep right eye open.. black_eye.gif

So, I don't know if this works in other languages than Swedish and English....

* Go to Google Maps
* Select "Get Directions"
* Type in "Tokyo" in field A
* Type in "New York" in field B
* Read numbers 21 and 32 in the list smile.gif

Try doing the same again, but from "Japan" to "China" and read number 43 in the list smile.gif

So... in 5 hours I'm a married man! smile.gif

Yes, there are a lot of things happening in my world these days... tongue.gif

I'm currently trying on the shoes for today, and contemplating what to have for breakfast. Marie has been at her mother's place now since yesterday afternoon, so we've pretty much been apart since yesterday morning. The next time I see her, it will be in the church.

It won't be a big wedding, with some 50 people invited for church and a 3-hour standing reception afterwards. Then the closest of family will join us for dinner at arguably the very best restaurant in town ("Mortens Kro", for those who might've heard about it). No real honeymoon, both because of Marie's pregnancy, but also because we've just been to Egypt for a week, so that kind of counts as a honeymoon. Once the baby's come, we might take another "honeymoon" the three of us.

And yes, I'm rambling now - can feel the jitters! tongue.gif No regrets, just anxiousness about today and all the people and the speeches and everything! Wish me luck, guys, and I'll see you on the other side. wink2.gif smile.gif

Thanks guys! smile.gif

Everything went perfectly. smile.gif The bride was beautiful, our guests were great, the gifts were impressive, the food was exquisite - and it was just a great, great day. smile.gif

Gotta get used to that ring, though - it's a strange feeling to have that hunk o' metal on your finger, physically, but other than that, I have no objections whatsoever... happy.gif

awwww.. my little car Seat Cordoba has reached now 400 000km in the counter.. wub.gif but the funny thing is, when i look the readout, it clearly tells at there is 100 000 kilometers.. biggrin.gif (there is some glitch, so it will start from zero, when the counter reaches 300 000km)

Cordoba has been my car now three years and the readout was back then 280 t km, so i have been driving at it 120 t km in three years and the car is now 11 years old (vm-99)

so, the "funny" numbers of driving
280 t km / (age of the car, when purchasing it)9years =31 111,111km/year (if assume, at the previous owner have been driving every year)
(the readout today)400 t km / (age of the car now)11years=36 363,636km/year (*smirk* the average value did rice immediately)
(own driving)120 t km / (i have been owner of this car)3years= 40 000km/year (if the price of the diesel has been standard every year, it would be simple to calculate, how much money this car has been taking every year (and how much it would have been, if this car has been using gasoline instead of diesel..) it would be easy to calculate, but for that, i would need information about the average value of gasoline and diesel prices at least from four years.. unsure.gif the taxes, what i have to bay from my car, are ~520€/year because it is a diesel..) it is a good car, evil.. but a good car.. biggrin.gif

Wow, 400 000 km and still going strong! We have a Volvo 460 from 1994, and the meter is at 140 000 km, and I thought that was a lot, hehe wink2.gif
