One of my favourite characters. However I tried to do something different and I borrowed some features from Chevy Nova for my Hot Rod would obviously transform in to a american made muscle car. Like in case of many even really good TF drawings, I didn't pay too much attention to the possible car mode. I just drew a robot that has some hints about what he is going to transform. For I'm not making a plans for a actual transfoming toy etc, so I didn't have to be so super realistic.
This is actually my very first robot I drew since I was a kid (like since... I don't know... 20 years ago?). I have to admit that drawing cubic robots is not very easy. Or at least not for me. I used mainly two point perspective for the body, but the problem is that you almost have to put all perspectives in to a one picture. Obviously you could just portray the chracter from one point view, but that is a bit boring. But atleast it doesn't look that distorted. I'm actually quite happu about this work. http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/l634/G...ings/hotrod.jpg This post has been edited by Honkimus Prime: 29 February 2012, 20:37 -------------------- Ostetaan hyväkuntoisia Alternators sekä Masterpiece -sarjojen figuureja.
