To my surprise there has been some Transformers-related stuff popping up on "regular" television lately. My mom and dad called me one evening to make me aware of a show they had stopped by during channel zapping, one called Collection Intervention. It's one of those shows again where people have somehow gone off track and become hoarders (more or less), and the show's purpose is to help those people by selling/getting rid of stuff to regain control. This episode of course was about a Transformers collector having some, um, "issues". Here's a link to the episode in question on Syfy's website. Also, a sneak peek on Youtube:
Direct link Also, my parents' favourite Aussie soap "Home & Away" had an episode where the character Dex (18-19 years old) gave a chocolate bar with nuts to a kid he was babysitting, but the kid was allergic to nuts and had a reaction. Dex called for the doctor (his dad) and everything worked out okay. As a token to say he's sorry, he bought a Movie Voyager Class Optimus Prime for the kid. Before Dex can hand the toy over, however, he's caught talking to and "playing" with the toy (well, really just holding it) at the local cafeteria (he doesn't know how to transform the toy, but since we only see it loose with no instructions and no box, I'm not surprised -------------------- |
