I really don't wanna break your spirit, cause the effort is commendable, but there are lots of stuff for you to left to perfect with kitbashing. Besides, I assume you wanna hear constructive criticism and not a bunch of bulls**t! smile.gif

First of all, like TFormer pointed out, the paint is way too thick on some places. Try to really take your time when you paint and make sure all parts get an even amount of paint.
You should always try not to get brush strokes in the paint, since they show up a lot once the paint dries.
You should try to get a hold of some paint that sticks to the plastic better. It seems like on some parts, the paint has actually started running off the plastic, leaving big holes in it.
The most important lesson to learn in this case would be to use some sort of masking tape when you paint, covering the areas that aren't supposed to be painted. I don't wanna be cruel, cause I know you put effort into it, but it just looks like you dipped the whole thing in a bucket of paint, cause there is paint splatter -everywhere-.

All that said, the positive bit is, as mentioned, the initiative and the color scheme aint bad at all. Does the character have a name?

Painting first coat with spray paint helps with that. Use priming paint.

How long did it take to make this? I bet with little more time and patience you could do much better. wink2.gif You still have lot's to learn. You'll just have make more and more and everytime try to be little better than last time. Wave made some very good remarks, read them and try to improve your skills. Only thing I don't agree with Wave is that about using masking tape. With this small figure that would be quite hard, rather just try to learn carefully apply the paint. I didn't use any tape on my Thrust, except with his sword.

It's easy! You don't have to cut it out all finely, just mask the area around the place you are painting roughly. Done in seconds - Improves the final look tenfold! smile.gif
