hey somebody know what happens in movie 2??... Way too early for anyone to make any guesses. Not even the scriptwriters may be sure of Megatron's fate at this time.is Megatron finaly dead or rebuild?? maby Galvatron is comming or something else ? Personally I would prefer that he continues as Megatron though. He has switched between the two identities so many times in recent years that it has become a joke (especially since there's never any visible difference apart from the change of colours), and I hope that they aim to restore whatever prestige the name "Megatron" originally carried, by letting him keep the name throughout the film series. "Galvatron" should be dropped and forgotten forever, in my opinion. -------------------- E-mail address: groundsplitter@ntfa.net

Voyager Ratchet and Starscream will also be released in G1 colors -- G1 color movie Jazz looks pretty sweet, actually -- but I'm betting that this is post-movie fanwank for the G1'ers. I don't think any of the 'bots will ever get exact G1 colors for any movie; the car makers (who sponsor the movie(s)) wouldn't allow it either, I'm betting...

Have Dreamworks and Paramount really green-lit a sequel yet? The movie cost about $150 million to make; do we know how far away the movie is from breaking even? If the movie falls short of the mark, it could be a one-off. I sure hope not, though.
PS! Oh wait, just found one. If this is right, Transformers has already made $180 million (by July 11th) in the US and $97 million in the rest of the world, totalling $277 million. If these numbers are right... WOW! Knut Ingar This post has been edited by Thunderclash: 13 July 2007, 07:25 -------------------- |

Knut Ingar Yes, those figures are correct, making TF a box-office hit. It will draw in more cash, and then when it hits the DVD-market, it'll gross even more. It wouldn't surpruse me if the movie hits the $400 million mark. EDIT: The only movie in the sci-fi/action genre that has made more money than Tranformers so far, is Terminator 2: Judgement Day. However, I'm guessing it will be beaten very soon, since it's total worldwide sales came to $204,843,345, making Transformers the top grossing sci-fi/action flick of all time! -------------------- |
