(EDIT: Quick links to the first 5 parts of this G2 Stunticon gallery featuring the single shoots of Breakdown, Drag Strip, Dead End, Wildrider and Motormaster.)
Right, the final and -- most probably -- the most interesting gallery post. Like all my other creations, the G2 Stunticons are fully transformable, and having been as thorough as I was in researching all the details, I dare make the claim that my creation is the closest thing to what the final production toy would have looked like. Mind you, the only picture out there of a real G2 Menasor combined is comprised of testshots, so a lot of the detailing I have is missing on that. And the customs out there are (for some reason) based on mine, so by elimination that makes mine the closest, I would think. But first (to draw out the suspence ... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I love the base-mode shot -- there's a lot to be said about the rainbow colors of the G2 toys in general, but I never felt the Stunticons were too garish as compared to, say, G2 Bruticus or G2 Defensor. As a group, they really complement each other very well, and I actually prefer displaying them in car mode rather than gestalt mode. Time for the gestalt: ![]() ![]() Just realised now that I should have taken a comparison shot with G1 Menasor (and forgot to flip up Dead End's hood), so let's just say that I owe you a shot or two. Hope you enjoyed the pictures, and please feel free to leave comments. -------------------- *** The NTFA Blog - Episode 14 (02/05/13)! *** Latest TF kitbash: CHUG Getaway (WIP) Collection count: More than 850 toys from all generations. I love the base-mode shot -- there's a lot to be said about the rainbow colors of the G2 toys in general, but I never felt the Stunticons were too garish as compared to, say, G2 Bruticus or G2 Defensor. As a group, they really complement each other very well, and I actually prefer displaying them in car mode rather than gestalt mode. Quite understandable. With these colours the group is an eyesore, so the less you see of them, the better. You mentioned in another one of the topics that Wildrider is your favourite of the G2 Stunticons, and I think I agree - his colours are the most "balanced" of these five. I like Drag Strip in car mode, but light blue on black doesn't work as a robot. Dead End has a decent colour scheme in robot mode, but I feel there's something amiss with the car mode. As for G2 Motormaster, the less said about his colours the better. They don't work in any form. I don't know who looks the worst, G2 Menasor or Action Master Thundercracker. -------------------- E-mail address: groundsplitter@ntfa.net

I like them all, but I do prefer Breakdown - the eggblue colour and the purple works for me.
